CAHF has cancelled the 2020 Spring Legislative Conference in Sacramento, scheduled for March 15-17.

"As COVID-19 continues to spread in some communities, we are taking this step to minimize any risk to our frail and elderly residents who are most vulnerable to this virus," said Craig Cornett, CAHF CEO President.  "We must do everything possible to protect the safety of the residents and our dedicated caregivers."

"We are hearing that members are dealing with many emerging issues, including staffing concerns, supply shortages and visitor screenings. Our members are best served remaining in their communities to address these challenges, provide support to families who are concerned about their loved ones and guard against further community spread," he added.

CAHF is planning to deliver important content to CAHF members in a "virtual" format on Mon. and Tues., March 16 and 17. Further information will be forthcoming.
