CAHF Awards

One of CAHF's priorities is to ensure that long-term care providers are recognized for their excellence. Through our annual awards program we honor providers, dedicated staff and volunteers for their achievements and their commitment to long-term care.

Awards are presented at CAHF's Spring Advocacy, Summer Conference and Annual Convention.

The Volunteer of the Year awards recognize youth, adult and group volunteers who contribute their time and effort to residents of long-term care facilities.

Distinguished Service Award

The Distinguished Service Award is designed to recognize individual CAHF members - both providers and associates - who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to the goals of CAHF and fostered the highest professional ideals.

The Showcase Awards are designed to recognize facility, company, chapter or regional efforts that promote the positive image of long-term care. Facility Super Stars

The Facility Super Star Awards recognizes employees of CAHF member facilities who have 10 or more years of service and have dedicated their lives to long-term care. The top 20 nominees are selected by CAHF's Board of Directors to receive the award and attend the awards ceremony.

Excellence in Programming
